The collection of old wives tales below are based on my personal experience that I have tested over the years. However, I do not guarantee that they will or will not work for everybody.

I did not believe in this tale until I had Marie. I always argued with my mother over this issue and every time I was wrong. LOL. Over the years, I have tested this tale and it is true that children, especially those under 2 years old are more likely to catch a cold if they have a hair wash on very cold rainy days. This does not happen if it is a warm rainy day. Nowadays, I also do not wash the children’s hair if they have a cough and cold. This helps them get over the cold faster.
