Why are we struggling to take care of one child?

I find it interesting to note that lately there are more and more one-child families especially amongst the Chinese. When I ask the parents if they plan to have any more, the answer is always “No, it is such a struggle looking after one child, we cannot cope with another.”ANONYMOUS COMMENTING DISABLED
