What is postnatal confinement?

This is a very interesting question that most pregnant women ask when preparing for the birth of their baby. “Is there a modern way or do I have to follow tradition?”

Hi, if I have a C-section, can I still have the traditional Malay massage and binding?

Regarding the "not washing hair" practice, if we don't follow, does it mean that I can wash my hair everyday or every other day?

Thanks!

Massaging of the uterus and binding is not recommended after a C section. You can massage other parts of the body. It is better if you wash your hair every other day but make sure that you dry it immediately with a hair dryer.
