BABY CARE
Sponge bathing baby

The information provided below is a general guide and is not meant to replace your doctor's advice. If you have any problems or questions, please refer to your doctor.
This is basically giving baby a wipe down instead of putting him in the bath tub. It is best during the early days especially if you do not have any help and your wound is still not healed. It is easier to do this on the bed so that you do not have to get up and down. Sponge bathing can be used for older babies before bed time to help them relax and sleep better. It is not necessary to use soap or lotions at this age.ANONYMOUS COMMENTING DISABLED
