Confinement - Personal Hygiene

Remember that your newborn baby's immune system is not fully matured until after 4 months old therefore it is important that you practice good personal hygiene to prevent your baby picking up unnecessary germs. According to Chinese tradition a newly delivered mother is not allowed to touch water during the confinement month.
